i want a hatchback with 4 doors and all wheel drive
not sold on the Audi A3 3.2 either…wish VW would release a 4motion GTi (or an R32 w/ 4 doors)
suggestions?

these are definitely worth a watch…vw’s marketing has been great over the years…normally a bit obscure, they’ve changed directions and have gone completely in your face and over the top….they’re funny stuff. I’m digging the “un-pimp your ride” ones a little more than the creepy “FAST” ones, but either way they’re funny.

maybe it’s time to sell it? the new body style isn’t out in the US yet, and apparently, there’s a new R32 in the works. …and i’ll take the beating, but i LOVE the new body style.
i could sell my R right now, still get back a decent chunk of change as it hasn’t really depreciated at all. pick up an old audi A4 or WRX or something for $10-15k and chill til the Mk5 R32 is unleashed…hmmm, i’m SERIOUSLY thinking about this.

Everyone has their opinions of VWs, and everyone who reads probably knows how much I love them…but I think you’d be hard pressed to find someone who disagrees that their marketing is top notch. A lot of you may not know this, but my Father is Terminal with a rare form of Stomach Cancer. I have decided to make my X-country into a Cancer Research Fund raiser. LISTEN CAREFULLY! 100% of the proceeds will go directly to The American Cancer Society to fund Cancer Research.
