I wish I had a better picture, but shit, just be happy you’re getting content.

My baby and I decided it was time to do something together in order to get into better shape. The five minute (on a good night) workout plan just wasn’t cutting it and sadly my special friend was usually the one doing all of the work…ANYWAY, we decided to get some bikes.

In typical daily dwayne fashion, I agonized over the decision for weeks. My boo on the other hand was completely content with walking into Target, picking up a Schwinn and carrying on with life. She actually ended up getting a pretty nice bike for what we paid, and believe it or not, had a much easier time finding something for her 5 foot-nothin frame there as compared to the local bike shops.

I fell in love with a bike that I never saw. Behold, the Marin Muirwoods 29er. 29″ wheeled urban bike…makes sense, I live in the suburbs and haven’t ridden a geared bike consistently since, well, never.

But I needed it…and I got it. I have to say I made the right decision. Well, the first 7-10 miles have been perfect so far, we’ll see what the rest of the season brings.

Who knows maybe I’ll even blog about my biking adventures and get some real pictures and links up here…but don’t count on it.
